Job Summary
Clear used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables to bus stations, then wipe surfaces and clean surrounding floor areas. Reset tables per standards to seat new guests quickly, remove full tubs to the dishwashing area, and maintain an orderly bus station. Retrieve cleaned dishes and glassware from the dish room to distribute to service stations, sweep restaurant floors throughout the shift, and stock requisitioned items from the stockroom while rotating inventory. Assist waitstaff by refilling beverages, providing condiments, and supplying fresh tableware, and keep ice stations filled by transferring ice from the main machine. Maintain a friendly demeanor while performing other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 lbs to include serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment up to 75% of the time.
- Mobility -full range of mobility and the ability to travel up to 300 feet on a regular basis throughout the shift.
- Continuous standing -during preparation, during service hours or during expediting.
- Ability to read meters and controls.
