Job Summary
Clear used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables to tubs in the bus station, then wipe surfaces and clear debris from surrounding floor areas. Reset tables per established standards to seat new customers quickly, remove full tubs to the dishwashing area, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bus station. Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dish room to distribute to service stations, sweep restaurant floors throughout the shift, and restock supplies from the stockroom while rotating items. Assist waitstaff by refilling beverages and accommodating requests for condiments, food, or fresh tableware, and keep ice stations filled by carrying buckets from the main machine. Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor while performing other duties as assigned by management. This role supports the iconic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, located near Rocky Mountain National Park.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 lbs to include serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment up to 75% of the time.
- Mobility -full range of mobility and the ability to travel up to 300 feet on a regular basis throughout the shift.
- Continuous standing -during preparation, during service hours or during expediting.
- Ability to read meters and controls.
