Job Summary
Clear plates during and after service, serve water upon guest arrival, and refill waters and bread throughout the shift. Reset tables, maintain a clean work space, and complete a check list before the end of each shift. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. This role requires flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and evenings, with a mandatory California Food Handler card and Responsible Beverage Service training. Employees must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS, and Payroll systems. The position involves standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 30lbs, and operating in a moderate to high noise environment with potential exposure to scents.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings
- California Food Handler card
- Responsible Beverage Service training
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Basic typing skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including: copier, fax, telephone, calculator, etc
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in POS systems
- Proficient in Payroll systems
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time or an entire shift
