Job Summary
Provide friendly, efficient service of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Complete all side-work and cleaning duties per SOPs, including busing tables, sweeping floors, restocking stations, and rolling silverware. Assist in expediting food from the kitchen, greeting and seating guests, and running To Go orders to rooms. Maintain regular attendance and comply with safety regulations to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations. Work on feet for long periods in a fast-paced environment requiring quick reaction times and the ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests
- Must be able to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by team members and guests
- Must be able to be on their feet long periods of time
- Must be able to react quickly to servicing guests in professional manner at all times
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to lift 40-50lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
