Job Summary
Clean and stock dining rooms by emptying ashtrays, replacing linens and tableware, sweeping floors, resetting tables, and transporting bus carts to the dishwashing station. Provide guest service by welcoming patrons, taking beverage orders, delivering drinks, and responding to requests while maintaining safe and sanitary areas. Stock restaurant stations with water, food supplies, and condiments; clean coffee machines, soda machines, sinks, shelves, and counters per established procedures. Promote guest relations by offering promotional contest information and treating guests courteously. Requires a County of San Diego Food Handler Card, ability to lift 50 pounds, and standing for up to 8 hours.

- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language

- Ability to understand verbal directives and written instructions
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds

- Ability to complete forms and documents
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Ability to bend, stoop, push and pull
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to appear for work on time
