Job Summary
Maintain professional table settings and service standards while transporting up to 50 lbs of goods and pushing carts weighing 150 lbs through crowded rooms. Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, treating all interactions with courtesy and respect under every circumstance. Adhere strictly to safety protocols regarding key controls, chemical use, and hazard reporting while remaining adaptable to changes in procedures. Pitch in to assist coworkers with duties as needed to support the team.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Can communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and serviceware
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room
- Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs.
- Adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns
