Job Summary
Develop and execute the overall Business Unit operations strategy, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and lean goals. Lead interdepartmental coordination for budget planning, capacity planning, and personnel development while advocating for Business Unit needs across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations teams. Drive activities to maintain supply chain risk registers and manage product delivery and cost performance from a tactical perspective. Balance machine shop and A&T capacity through subcontracting, make-buy decisions, and production rescheduling. Participate with the Business Unit Leadership Team to set strategies and establish roadmaps for long-term objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in an Engineering/ Technical or Business Field
- At least 10 years progressive experience in the fields of operations, production engineering or project/program management
- Demonstrated experience with material flow, lean and six sigma principles
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Facilitative Leadership skills
- Consistently and strongly demonstrates the identified Moog leadership behaviors
