Job Summary
Lead the Interventional Systems business in South Africa by driving commercial performance, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence. Execute country strategy aligned with regional goals to achieve sales targets, manage the P&L, and expand into public and private healthcare sectors. Build and coach a high-performing team while engaging key opinion leaders, hospital groups, and government stakeholders to strengthen market position. Monitor market trends, optimize resource allocation, and maintain strict regulatory compliance across all activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience within the medical device industry
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing commercial teams
- Proven experience leading a country, business unit, or large-scale sales organization
- Experience operating within complex healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of public and private healthcare sectors
- Experience managing tenders, government procurement processes, and strategic customer negotiations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within cardiovascular, endovascular, or interventional medical device markets is highly desirable
