Business Unit Manager

Lead and expand a Eurofins Rapid Microbiology Business Unit in Des Moines, IA. Develop the local strategy to grow the business and improve operations efficiency at laboratories and logistics, including sample taking and optimizing the Laboratory Information Management System eLims for productivity and profitability. Drive profitability to meet industry standards, participate in marketing and sales activities, maintain strong client relations, and coordinate cross-selling with other Eurofins laboratories in Europe. Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005, set and monitor customer-centric KPIs, and propose annual budgets and multi-year plans. Lead and develop leaders and employees, align goals with corporate objectives, and ensure high-quality service to clients. Build strategies and business plans to achieve or expand market leadership in the Grain industry while maintaining profitability. Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and operate with initiative, teamwork, and a focus on continuous improvement; fluent English required.
