Job Summary
Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve revenue, margin, and volume targets across assigned chemical portfolios in Indonesia. Identify new market opportunities, industries, and applications while leading price strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial terms with customers and principals. Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and budgeting with accuracy; build strong relationships with key customers and act as the primary interface with suppliers. Conduct regular business reviews with principals to track performance and growth opportunities, ensuring alignment between principal strategies and local market execution. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to provide insights on product positioning and portfolio optimization. Collaborate with supply chain, finance, regulatory, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution and effective inventory planning.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualified in an industry related discipline (science/chemistry)
- 10 + years B2B sales experience in a Food/Raw Ingredients related commercial/sales role
- at least 3 years in the managerial position
- Proven track record in sales leadership, business management, or commercial management
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian chemical market and regulatory environment
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking
- Results-driven, resilient, and customer-focused
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Technically sound in Food & Nutrition discipline with the ability to demonstrate and communicate the value proposition of nutrition/raw ingredient products
- Possess excellent verbal, written, analytical, presentation, organizational and negotiation skills
- Naturally possess integrity, excellent attitudes, reliability, and the agility to solve complex problem and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve organizational goal
