Job Summary
The role focuses on driving guest room and meeting revenues for a hotel managed by an independent franchisee, including meeting/exceeding booking goals, handling inquiries promptly, showing spaces to clients, soliciting new and repeat business, hosting clients, making outside sales calls and telemarketing, maintaining accounts, upselling services, negotiating rates, and representing the hotel in community and industry events. Responsibilities also include administrative duties such as preparing reports, adhering to budgets, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Hotel Sales Manager with similar capacity
- High school graduate
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity
