Job Summary
Business Travel Consultant role (Sat-Wed) supporting Amex GBT’s remote UK Traveler Care team. Advise and arrange corporate travel for individuals and groups across domestic and international itineraries (air, rail, road, and accommodations) using Sabre GDS. Ensure compliance with travel policies and provider rules, handle special requests with proactive service, and collaborate within the team to coach and improve service levels. Role operates 24/7 with Saturday-Wednesday, 8am-6pm UK time hours and is fully remote within the UK. Emphasis on professional client service, attention to traveler privacy, and strong knowledge of the travel industry; training on systems and processes provided as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Sabre GDS experience
- Prior travel consultant experience
- Proactive client service
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Understanding of travel policies and regulatory requirements
- Teamwork and openness to feedback
