Business Travel Consultant (Germany-Remote)

Job Summary
As a member of Navan's Global Operations and Service team, provide best-in-class travel support to travelers across chat, phone, and email; maintain extensive supplier, destination and system knowledge; analyze customer needs and urgency to optimize hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings; assist with self-service on the Navan platform; respond within SLA, adhere to travel and expense procedures and global compliance; give regular feedback to stakeholders; stay updated on product launches and supplier updates; build travel industry knowledge and meet performance metrics; German language skills are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years managing bookings for corporate and leisure clients in a core Business Travel environment
- 3+ years of advanced Sabre or Amadeus GDS experience (ticketing, reissues, voids, cancellations, EMD and MCO issuance/reissuance, PNR management, etc.)
- Experience of local market supplier content and booking practices in both ARC and BSP markets
- In-depth knowledge of complex itineraries, air fares and fare construction calculations including the use of nett fares, IT fares, route deals and corporate negotiated fares
- Experience of NDC, Low cost carriers and third party content aggregators and their booking management practices
- Full understanding of travel industry regulations, along with worldwide compliance requirements
- Skilled communicator, proficient in both verbal and written English language
- Language: Fluency in German (mandatory)
