Job Summary
Lead end-to-end technology implementation for new restaurant openings, remodels, and acquisitions, including networking, POS, security systems, and in-store technology. Coordinate with Store Development and Operations to define requirements, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and fully operational prior to turnover. Manage multiple concurrent projects using structured methodologies, developing plans, tracking risks, and maintaining standardized templates for repeatable execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for Franchisees on technology topics while overseeing vendor relationships and procurement coordination. Travel to project sites regularly to ensure execution quality and represent Business Technology in the field. Maintain a centralized knowledge base of technology standards and capture lessons learned from post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Proven ability to drive execution in a fast-paced, multi-site deployment environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently in a remote and field-based environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working with franchise partners and cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of NCR Aloha POS, NCR Back Office (NBO), and restaurant technology environments
- Experience with networking, hardware deployment, and in-store IT systems
- Familiarity with PCI and security compliance requirements
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana (or similar platforms)
- Ability to travel regularly (up to 5 days at a time)
- Passport or ability to obtain one
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 3+ years of relevant experience in IT, business technology, or restaurant systems support
