Job Summary
Design and program new business processes and reports by analyzing claims functions to increase operational efficiency. Develop ad-hoc reports for data analysis, create multiuser database solutions, and troubleshoot systems to optimize performance. Document development requirements, consult with end users for testing and debugging, and recommend technical alternative solutions to management. Research financial impacts of identified issues and implement corrective actions for departmental projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Equivalent work experience in technical data analysis, conducting system analysis meetings, developing system design documents, developing project plans with achievable milestones and deadlines, and mediating different department demands to gain approvals on system scope and design
- 2+ years of experience in relevant programming, including SAS, SQL, VB.NET, or Oracle, or similar experience depending on departmental requirements
- 3+ years of experience in related business analysis
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree in a related field, i.e., Mathematics, Computer Science, etc may be considered in lieu of some of the required experience (not to exceed 2 years)
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare
- 1+ year of experience in ASP/ASP.NET
- Python, Jira, PowerBI, and/or Databricks experience
- SAS Certification
