Job Summary
The Business/Tech Ed Teacher at Minnesota Connections Academy will manage instructional programs, consulting with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of educational programs. Responsibilities include grading, developing and updating Personal Learning Plans, conducting parent conferences, supporting instruction through web conferencing, and maintaining student records. Candidates should possess a Business/Tech Ed License, be highly qualified to teach in Minnesota, have strong technology skills, and excellent communication abilities. The role requires flexibility, a customer-focused approach, and collaboration with other teachers.
Required Qualifications
- A Business/Tech Ed License is preferred
- Highly qualified and certified to teach in Minnesota (appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities)
- Ability to work remotely if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours as needed to support some families
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
