Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Responsibilities include managing instructional time and student behavior, presenting lessons with clear objectives, monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, facilitating instruction, performing non-instructional duties as required, and supervising teacher assistants to support an effective learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
