Job Summary
Business Systems & Automation Developer at Expo Centric who designs, builds, maintains, and improves automation workflows across the business using n8n, REST APIs, and cloud functions. You will manage integrations across platforms like Xero, AroFlo, HubSpot, Cin7, WooCommerce, WordPress, QuickBooks Time/TSheets, BambooHR, and dashboards/reports in Power BI, Azure SQL, and Power Apps. Responsibilities include troubleshooting data sync issues, supporting Azure-based cloud solutions, building internal tools and admin portals, documenting automation logic, and training staff. Key skills include n8n, APIs/webhooks, SQL/Azure SQL, Microsoft Azure services, Power Apps/Power BI, Python/JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, OAuth2, API testing, and experience integrating multiple business systems (Xero, HubSpot, Cin7, WooCommerce, WordPress, ERP/inventory/HR systems). Required Qualifications
- Experience with workflow automation tools, especially n8n
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs, and system integrations
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably Azure SQL or SQL Server
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud deployment basics
- Ability to build and troubleshoot internal business tools, forms, dashboards, admin portals, or workflow interfaces
- Experience working with data transformation, reporting workflows, and business process improvement
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and understand business requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong AI understanding and the ability to create custom GPTs
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in simple language
- A practical mindset and the ability to build useful, simple solutions without overcomplicating systems
