Job Summary
Business Systems & Analytics Developer responsible for designing/developing Salesforce backend applications, integrating Salesforce with ERP (IFS) and analytics tools, and building Power BI dashboards for executive and operational reporting. Roles include Apex/Lightning Web Components development, SOQL/SOSL and API integrations (REST/SOAP), MuleSoft/Heroku integrations, data model maintenance, data integrity and security, and end-user training. Responsibilities also cover data feeds/batch jobs for large-scale data handling, documentation of configurations and integration points, and collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and IT to align systems with business needs. Emphasis on analytics workflow development, data warehouse usage in Power BI, and exploring AI/ML opportunities for advanced analytics.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with Salesforce and Power BI
- Proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components
- Strong understanding of SOQL/SOSL and API integrations
- Experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, and Salesforce Data Cloud
- Knowledge of Git and version control
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong Power BI, Power Query, Visual Basic, SQL skills
- Understanding of Power BI security (RLS, DRLS, CLS, OLS)
- Ability to synthesize data and build data models
- Independent and collaborative work ability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- 40-hour work week with potential on-call status
