Business Systems Analyst Senior

Job Summary
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for application systems. Collaborate with internal departments, development teams, and external customers to obtain consensus on needs and define project scope, goals, and timelines. Design new projects and programs by evaluating current practices, while conducting root-cause analysis and audits to verify workflows and identify process improvements. Develop system requirement documents, technical specifications, and data delivery reports to support training and decision-making. Configure systems using logic statements to solve problems, execute test plans, and ensure user acceptance. Serve as a technical expert and mentor, guiding research, design, implementation, and maintenance of new systems to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management or related field
- Five (5) years' health related non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, healthcare or technology related organization
- Minimum five (5) years' business solutions analysis experience with a complex system technology
- Applicable Masters in related field with minimum three (3) years' experience
- Demonstrated experience analyzing, developing, implementing, and supporting business systems and technology solutions
- Experience with data management, reporting, process improvement, and requirements gathering
- Project management experience
- Experience with Verint, Five9, and/or Cresta
- In-depth knowledge of insurance technology business solutions such as claims processing, marketing, membership, enrollment, customer service, financial and provider systems
