Job Summary
Business Systems Analyst located in Shah Alam, Selangor, to provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, writing specifications, and collaborating with Enterprise Architect and Solution Manager to meet customer and site needs. Responsibilities include identifying required system improvements, supervising implementation, writing functional and technical specifications for developers, contributing to ERP deployment and development, analyzing complex business problems, proposing automated solutions to improve operations and processes, and coordinating progress and communications with project leadership. The role requires experience in ERP environments (e.g., BaaN5/Infor LN or similar), strong SQL and business-application knowledge, and willingness to travel 1-2 times per month.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant educational background in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Minimum 5-7 years of working experience as an analyst in an ERP environment (e.g., BaaN5/Infor LN or other ERP)
- Advanced functional, technical and people/process management skills
- Experience in ERP, logistics processes, and supply chain in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to manage projects with tight timelines and lead a small team of key users
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of business applications
- Willing to travel at least 1-2 times a month
