Job Summary
Business Systems Analyst in Finance Tech role focused on enterprise event management, IT governance, and automation. Responsibilities include structuring, planning, developing, implementing and managing event management for servers, databases and facilities; establishing work plans with IT Delivery leadership; identifying trends and implementing automated solutions to pro-actively resolve customer issues; ensuring compliance tasks and automation of repetitive tasks; swift resolution of production issues; creating and maintaining runbooks; developing IT governance documentation; ensuring timely execution of automated and manual tasks to meet SLAs; providing leadership on services and metrics; developing training requirements and assessing staff performance; promoting exceptional customer service; attending weekly team meetings and providing status updates; and performing other duties as required. Key skills and tools include Exchange email environment (on-premises and cloud), RPA/OpCon, Windows OS and AD/GPO, DNS, IIS, WINS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, NTFS/Share Permissions, WSFTP, Azure cloud experience, and strong communication. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, seven years of experience, technology certifications, and knowledge of Fiserv, Citrix, LAN/WAN, VoIP, VMware, Webex Teams/UCM. The role is based in Parsippany, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of working experience as a technical systems analyst
- Experience with configuring and monitoring systems entities (storage, databases, virtual environments, peripheral infrastructure)
- Experience administering an Exchange email environment (local and cloud) including flow, filtering, archiving, and legal holds
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Windows OS including AD/GPO, DNS, IIS, WINS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, and NTFS/Share Permissions
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), especially OpCon
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with internal and external customers
- Ability to multitask and manage large varied workloads in high-pressure environments
- Ability to write technical documentation and create management reports and metrics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of performance metrics and KPI methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar Technology field with seven years’ experience in a technical environment
- Technology Certifications in listed systems (optional)
- Azure cloud experience preferred
- Knowledge of Fiserv, Citrix, LAN, WAN, VoIP, VMware, Webex Teams, Webex UCM
