Job Summary
Lead financial planning solutions within the International FP&A portfolio by configuring processes, developing reports, and templates using SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud. Translate complex business processes into functional requirements for developers and participate in solution builds, tests, and roadmap planning for FP&A systems implementations and upgrades. Act as the trusted voice of the Technology team with internal IT groups and key business users while collaborating on best practices to integrate technology solutions. Assist in troubleshooting production support issues and guide technical development using specifications documentation. Work flexible hours to support accounting and planning users globally across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent
- 8+ years of ERP FP&A systems (SAC, SAP BPC, Oracle EPM, Anaplan, OneStream, etc.) hands-on experience, leading up to Lead Architect level work in an IT capacity, implementing planning solutions of high complexity and large scale
- Prior hands-on experience should include technical/functional analyst with proven skills to develop templates, configuration of new environments/models, dimensions, logic, and computations
- Demonstrated ability to learn new FP&A technologies
- Skillful at translating complex technical requirements into 'finance-speak' for executive stakeholders
- Ability to gather & present business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Ability to guide technical development using specifications documentation
- Ability to work and collaborate within a cross-functional matrix
- Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of business and IT
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to expand depth of knowledge
- Adherence to project methodologies and change control processes
- A strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of building models within SAC and/or BPC
- Familiarity with SAP ERP for FICO, BW in a functional capacity (SAP BW4/HANA or SAP S4/HANA) or other ERP applications
- Familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere, Databricks)
- Project time and cost estimation ability
- Project management familiarity/experience (MS Project, project time, and estimation)
- Experience with BI reporting tools: SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analysis for Office (AOE), or other similar applications
- Experience in Media Entertainment Accounting and/or core accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Clear written & verbal communication
