Business System Engineer – Enterprise Applications

Job Summary
Configure, implement, and support enterprise and business systems across departments while collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical configurations. Lead cross-functional projects ensuring alignment between business needs, vendors, and internal IT resources, specifically partnering with the CSV team for validation processes, system setup, and environment readiness. Troubleshoot system integrations, user access issues, and dependencies within AWS and Azure ecosystems, maintaining detailed documentation of workflows and change controls. Identify and escalate project risks, blockers, or dependencies to leadership, and provide post-implementation support during the transition to steady-state ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing or supporting enterprise and business systems in biotech or pharmaceutical organizations
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Veeva Vault, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle), and cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
- Familiarity with GxP, SOX, and data integrity principles
- Understanding of both clinical-phase and commercial-phase biotech operations
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across IT, QA/CSV, and business teams
