Job Summary
Provide administrative and financial support to the Planning Guidance administration team; process and monitor Resource Consent applications; pre-process resource consent applications; provide invoicing, purchase orders, and monthly accounts management; respond to internal and external enquiries including Official Information (LGOIMA) requests; manage external consultation for publicly notified resource consent applications; process and monitor Land Information Memorandums (LIMs); prepare reports and assist with audits for government agencies; support the Planning Guidance team and wider business support function; deliver professional, responsive, customer-focused service; contribute to change initiatives; proactive and detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar business support/administration role
- Experience providing effective support in a corporate or public sector environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues and recommend practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate requirements, and meet deadlines
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative working style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and experience with databases and process mapping
- A results-focused approach with a commitment to integrity, teamwork, and getting things done
