Job Summary
Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and clear explanations of key drivers. Maintain the 10-year capital plan and develop procedures for capital budgeting, prioritization, and reporting. Deliver ad-hoc financial reports, research expenditures, identify trends and variances, and prepare comparisons and forecasts. Create visually effective presentations of financial data for stakeholders and support regulatory filings, commitments, and reporting requirements. Assist with financial system upgrades and enhancements while providing backup support to the Sr. Analyst on project and financial control initiatives. Requires a BA/BS in Finance or related field, 3+ years in finance or accounting, proficiency in Oracle ERP and Power BI, and ability to work extended hours during critical periods. Located in Naperville, Illinois, with hybrid onsite and remote availability.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS/BBA in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Engineering, or related field
- AACE, CPA, CMA, CISA, CFE, or similar recognized credential
- 3+ years in finance, accounting, audit, or project controls
- Proficient in Oracle ERP, Power BI, PowerPlan or UI Planner
- advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills, especially Excel
- Strong knowledge of reporting, modeling, forecasting, and accounting fundamentals
- Effective planning, prioritization, and attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication across all organizational levels
- Able to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
- willing to work extended hours during critical periods
