Job Summary
Set up, maintain, and reset conference rooms and meeting spaces for corporate events and training sessions. Perform general maintenance tasks including routine repairs, minor carpentry, painting, furniture assembly, and small equipment installations. Manage package and mail distribution while responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting facility issues. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to resolve concerns and maintain accurate documentation of all work orders and inspections. Ensure workspaces remain clean, organized, safe, and fully functional while supporting health, safety, and compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant office support or facilities experience in a corporate or facilities management environment
- Demonstrated handyman or maintenance skills
- Basic knowledge in carpentry
- Basic knowledge in light repairs
- Basic knowledge in electrical systems
- Basic knowledge in plumbing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented mindset
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn facility management or work order systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to respond quickly to changing needs
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training in facilities maintenance, building trades, or related technical disciplines
- Health and Safety certifications such as First Aid, CPR, Electrical Safety, or Fire Warden training
- Previous experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order platforms like Corrigo or similar software
- Trade-related certifications or specialized training in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems
- Experience supporting corporate events, meeting logistics, or conference room technology and audiovisual equipment
- Knowledge of JLL's safety standards, sustainability practices, and compliance procedures in workplace environments
