Job Summary
Provides positive customer interface and handles clinic billing workflow: greets visitors/patients, collects documentation, processes copays/balances, prints billing slips, enters charges, codes diagnoses, reconciles payments, ensures drop status at charge entry, verifies registrations, obtains precertification, prints forms, schedules follow-ups, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires accuracy, attention to detail, strong communication, customer focus, and basic computer skills; experience in a physician's office and typing proficiency are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience required
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to type
