Job Summary
Partner with business and industry leaders to develop and implement employment and talent strategies aligned with workforce needs. Provide leadership, direction, training, and ongoing support to business services staff while hiring, supervising, and evaluating team members. Collaborate with the Project Director to identify system and operational improvements that strengthen service delivery. Identify business development opportunities and referral sources to increase job placements, while enhancing program visibility through professional networks and employer partnerships. Serve as a public-facing representative presenting to employers, partners, and executive-level stakeholders. Liaise with senior leadership to ensure compliance with policies and workforce program requirements. Manage special projects and assignments within a fast-paced, results-driven environment requiring flexibility for non-traditional hours and local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, workforce development, human resources, public administration, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in employer engagement, business services, workforce development, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and delivering professional presentations to diverse audiences
- Experience engaging employers, partners, or senior/executive-level stakeholders
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills
- Valid driver's license
