Job Summary

Conduct accounting, general administrative, and logistics-related tasks under supervision to develop a working knowledge of a specific area of study. Assist with ongoing initiatives, projects, and special projects as assigned while collaborating to address business partners' concerns. Help research and compile data for stakeholders and provide recommendations for new procedures or best practices to improve efficiency. Utilize spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software to perform duties in a team environment. Maintain confidentiality of work-related information and adhere to college protocols and guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be registered for the Accounting, General Studies, or Logistics Practicum Requirements
  • Possesses basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently or as part of a team
  • Pays attention to detail and follows through on work assignments
  • Responsible person who adheres to the College's protocols and guidelines
  • Maintains the confidentiality of work-related information and materials
  • Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software
  • Must possess required knowledge and skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed
  • Ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds
  • Report unsafe working conditions and behavior
  • Take reasonable and prudent actions to eliminate identified hazards
