Job Summary
Business Services Associate supports the Operations team by providing expertise on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, serving as the central resource for internal and external clients. The role focuses on treasury management onboarding, bank system usage (FIS/Q2 or similar), new account opening, establishing customer relationships, collecting documentation, and professional communication; requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma/GED with related education or certification. On-site at Novato, CA or Rancho Cordova, CA. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Treasury Management and onboarding experience required
- FIS, Q2 experience or similar banking system experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of operations, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable operating and computer systems
- Basic understanding of banking laws and regulations
- Ability to perform new account opening process, including establishing customer relationships on core banking systems
- Ability to collect supporting signatures and required documentation when establishing new account relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Professional / educational experience
- 6 months – 1 year of related experience and/or training
- High school diploma or GED and/or one-year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
