Job Summary
Assist school districts with accounting/financial functions; prepare monthly financial and board reports; reconcile bank statements and revenue; manage budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and drawdowns; support payroll and audits; maintain compliance with local, state, and federal requirements; utilize Ascender/Skyward; collaborate with ESC staff and district/charter school personnel; drive accurate financial reporting and fund management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, accounting field preferred, or 5 years equivalent experience
- TASBO Certification preferred
- Five years of school accounting experience
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced technical knowledge of school finance and budgeting
- Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
