Job Summary
Business Service Officer responsible for managing a portfolio of Business Banking clients within an assigned market, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure a premium client experience through timely service requests, proactive outreach, and risk mitigation. Responsibilities include handling client inquiries, guiding clients through bank processes, setting up and maintaining client deposits, managing loan and lease product service, supporting client retention, collaborating with the sales team on portfolio activities (including in-person sessions), and acting as a liaison with internal fraud teams for real-time support. Requires 3+ years in banking/financial services and an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; strong communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and familiarity with Salesforce preferred. Hybrid work is required for candidates near KeyBank offices (2 days on-site per week), with remote work option for those outside KeyBank footprint; typical hours 8-5 EST. Core emphasis on client experience, proactive service, and cross-functional collaboration within the COS and sales teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience (required)
- 3+ years of experience in banking or equivalent financial services (required)
- Direct experience working with business clients and financial products (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and navigation of Internet
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
