Job Summary
Business Sales Representative responsible for selling ADT security and smart business solutions to small business customers. Responsibilities include visiting customer sites to demonstrate value, customize systems to fit each business’s layout and operations, conduct post-installation follow-ups, identify and cultivate new leads within the territory, and build long-term customer relationships through trusted advisory selling. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and tech-savviness to explain products, assess needs, and guide customers to optimal security and automation solutions. Travel within the designated territory with mileage reimbursement; compensation includes uncapped commissions with six-figure potential for experienced reps.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willing to travel within a designated territory using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable using technology to stay organized in a fast-paced sales environment
- Self-motivated and results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Able to consult with customers, understand needs, and guide to the right solution
