Job Summary
Drive new business by visiting small business customers to demonstrate ADT's security and smart business solutions, tailoring systems to each client’s layout and operations, and guiding them to the right combination of security, automation, and life-safety technology. Build trust as a reliable advisor throughout the sales process, conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments, and identify/quantify new leads within your territory. You’ll use strong communication and problem-solving skills to explain products and services, consult with business owners and decision-makers, and collaborate with teammates to deliver value. This role emphasizes in-person customer visits, territorial lead generation, and ongoing relationship development, with mileage reimbursement for travel and uncapped commissions as part of the compensation structure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel within designated territory
- Comfortable with technology
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in consumer sales preferred but not required
