Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager Senior Government Not-for-Profit responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Government Not-for-Profit client relationships within Business Banking. Build collaborative relationships, serve as trusted advisor, deliver customized banking products and solutions, and pursue new clients. Manage credit opportunities up to $40 million within the portfolio; leverage referral networks to identify opportunities and ensure profitability while adhering to regulatory, legal, and risk management frameworks relevant to Government Not-for-Profit clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business banking relationship management or related business lending experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of the unique requirements, laws, regulations, and risk management for Government Not-for-Profit client base; familiarity with the formal Request For Proposal process and due diligence
- Able to identify innovative solutions to best serve client and/or manage risk
- Demonstrate seasoned judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions that best meet client needs; monitors and researches segment trends and outcomes to anticipate client needs and present proactive solutions
- Strong current business network; viewed as a leader in community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, Non-Profit boards
- Expert knowledge of business, credit underwriting with commercial credit training
