Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of Government Not-for-Profit clients up to $40 million by building collaborative internal and external relationships to deliver customized business banking solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to grow the portfolio through prospecting for new clients and deepening ties with existing accounts while adhering to regulatory, legal, and risk management frameworks unique to this segment. Utilize extensive referral networks to identify potential new clients and cultivate long-term relationships that ensure profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in business banking relationship management role or related business lending experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of the unique requirements, laws, regulations, and risk management for Government Not-for-Profit client base
- Familiarity with the formal Request For Proposal process and due diligence
- Able to identify innovative solutions to best serve client and/or manage risk
- Demonstrate seasoned judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions that best meet client needs
- Monitors and researches segment trends and outcomes to anticipate client needs and present proactive solutions
- Strong current business network
- Viewed as a leader in community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, Non-Profit boards

- Expert knowledge of business, credit underwriting with commercial credit training
