Job Summary
Senior Deepening Business Banking Relationship Manager handling 80-100 business clients with annual revenue greater than ~$5M; focus on deposit acquisition, cash management, and client growth with credit opportunities up to ~$15M. Deliver customized banking solutions, onboard clients, and maintain risk controls while collaborating with Branch, Wealth Management, and Private Bank to provide comprehensive financial solutions. Regular in-person/virtual client contacts, portfolio management, and deepening relationships to increase primary banking share. Requires 5+ years in a Business Banking RM or related lending role, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple client needs and deadlines. Calendar of duties includes leveraging treasury products, expanding digital capabilities, and ensuring end-to-end delivery of new accounts and services within regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services, and knowledge of business credit underwriting
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate clients’ issues, own problems on clients’ behalf, and follow through with commitments
- Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm
- Ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes and leverage technology to interact with clients effectively and efficiently
