Job Summary
Senior Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Acquisition banker in Business Banking to manage a portfolio of large business clients and prospects (annual revenue >$3MM). Responsibilities include acquiring, retaining, and deepening relationships; delivering customized banking solutions including deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to $15M; leveraging internal partners (Private Bank, Asset Wealth Management, Middle Market, One Chase) to grow the network; cultivating referrals and centers of influence; and ensuring risk-management and regulatory compliance. Requires strong business development, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, plus deep knowledge of deposits, cash management, and business credit underwriting. Title indicates senior leadership and VP-level scope within Chase's Business Banking.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services
- Knowledge of business credit underwriting with commercial credit training
- Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Self-directed, proactive, and creative; navigates ambiguity to get things done
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrates strong tactical business development and negotiation skills
