Job Summary
Senior Business Relationship Manager Acquisition in Chase's Business Banking group, responsible for managing a portfolio of large commercial clients (annual revenue >$3M) and prospecting for new relationships. The role focuses on providing customized financial solutions—including deposits, cash management, and business credit—while coordinating with product specialists and leveraging internal referrals to deepen client relationships. Responsibilities include acquiring, retaining, and expanding a portfolio of ~40–50 business clients and ~60 prospects, delivering a high-touch client experience, onboarding new accounts, managing risk and regulatory compliance, and utilizing strong networking and negotiation skills to identify opportunities across partners such as Private Bank, Asset Wealth Management, and Middle Market. Required competencies include strong relationship-building, strategic business development, and knowledge of business banking products, with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (or equivalent).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with individuals at all levels
- Knowledge of deposit and cash management products and business credit underwriting
