Job Summary
Senior Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Acquisition banker responsible for acquiring, retaining, and deepening a portfolio of approximately 40-50 business clients and 60 prospects with annual revenue >$3M. Provide deposits, cash management solutions, and business credit opportunities up to $15M; collaborate with branch-based bankers to support sizeable credit deals; onboard new accounts end-to-end and deliver a full suite of products. Grow the client base through proactive prospecting, leveraging referral networks, and partnering with Internal partners (Private Bank, Asset Wealth Management, Middle Market, One Chase). Build long-term primary banking relationships by understanding owners’ personal financial goals and aligning personal and business banking needs. Maintain risk controls and regulatory compliance, while delivering a high-touch client experience and proactive, customized solutions. Requires strong industry knowledge, tactical business development and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services, and knowledge of business credit underwriting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
- Ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes and leverage technology to interact with clients effectively and efficiently
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
