Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager focused on South Florida/Broward County, acting as a subject-matter expert across deposits, credit, and cash management to grow and retain a high-value book of business. Partner with branch teams and cross-functional colleagues (Wealth Management, Mortgage) to execute a sales plan, deepen client relationships, educate clients on suitable products, manage credit requests up to $250K (and assist with larger loans with Sr. bankers), and ensure compliant, world-class service. Role requires mortgage-licensing registration, collaboration with risk/credit teams, and the ability to drive portfolio growth and client satisfaction within a regulated banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience preferred, 2-5 years banking experience or 2-3 years in Business Banking
- Exceptional consulting skills; ability to probe, listen, clarify and present information to advance sales transactions
- Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex financial and company operating information
- Professional presentation skills
- Strong working knowledge of credit structuring and processing; credit trained preferred
- Ability to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and obtain unique identifier as required by SAFE Act
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
