Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager – AVP in Huntington, NY, responsible for sourcing, expanding, and retaining customer relationships across assigned branches and areas. SME on Deposit, Credit, and Cash Management products; lead cross-functional collaboration with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and other Area partners; drive sales plans, client retention, and credit activity up to $250K with Sr. Bankers for higher deals; develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, manage a portfolio of high-value clients, and ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional client experience. Requires Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years banking/business banking experience, mortgage licensing registration, and strong relationship-management and credit-skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years banking experience or 2-3 years in Business Banking preferred
- Exceptional consulting skills; ability to probe, listen, clarify and present information
- Analytical skills to assimilate financial and operating information
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of credit structuring and processing; credit trained preferred
- Mortgage loan originator registration with NMLS/Registry and related compliance requirements
- Ability to manage loan processes and collaborate with Credit/Risk teams
