Job Summary
Senior Banking Relationship Manager (AVP) in the Manhattan Area responsible for proactively sourcing, acquiring, expanding, and retaining a high-value book of business. Acts as SME on Deposit, Credit, and Cash Management products; leads cross-branch and cross-team collaboration (Wealth Management, Mortgage) to execute sales plans; manages portfolio growth, customer satisfaction, and retention; handles loan requests up to $250K and collaborates on larger lending relationships; develops and executes integrated sales plans to drive new-to-bank acquisitions and industry-sector growth; ensures compliance with internal controls, risk policies, and regulatory requirements; requires Mortgage Loan Originator registration and ongoing compliance. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5-8 years of relevant banking/Business Banking experience; strong credit, analytical, communication, and business-development skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience preferably 2-5 banking experience or 2-3 years in Business Banking
- Exceptional consulting skills; ability to probe, listen, clarify and present information to advance sales transactions
- Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex financial and company operating information
- Professional presentation skills
- Strong working knowledge of credit structuring and processing; credit trained preferred

- This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (Registry) and obtain a unique identifier; maintain registration annually
