Job Summary
BRM II (AVP) in Chase’s Business Banking portfolio manages 100-130 business clients with $1-5M annual revenue, delivering tailored financial solutions including deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to ~$1.5M. Responsibilities include in-person client visits, cross-functional collaboration with Wealth Management and Home Lending, risk and regulatory adherence, and leadership support for assigned branches. Must identify prospects, nurture primary banking relationships, and maintain profitability through disciplined relationship development and client-focused service; requires strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
