Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager I (BRM) in Business Banking focused on acquiring, managing, and retaining a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with $1-5 million in annual revenue for assigned branches. Deliver tailored banking solutions, manage credit opportunities up to ~$500,000, and build long-term client relationships through in-person visits, collaboration with partners across lines of business, and adherence to risk management and regulatory requirements. Requires relationship-building skills, financial acumen in banking products, and proficiency in MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
