Job Summary
Business Banking BRM I role focused on acquiring, managing, and retaining a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with $1–$5M annual revenue, delivering customized banking solutions (deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to $500k), and building relationships through in-person client visits at their places of business. Collaboration across lines of business to connect clients with specialists, adherence to risk management and regulatory requirements, and ongoing relationship development with prospects and current clients across branches. Requires 1 year of business banking relationship management or related business lending experience; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience; strong MS Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients’ behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
