Job Summary
Business Relationship Manager I in Business Banking: manage a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with $1-$5M in annual revenue, provide deposit, cash management, and credit solutions up to ~$500k, and deliver customized financial guidance. Conduct regular in-person calls at clients’ places of business, collaborate with partners across lines of business to meet client needs, identify growth opportunities, and uphold risk-management protocols. Strong emphasis on relationship building, client experience, and knowledge of banking products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong network in business community
- Experience in Business Banking Relationship Management or related business lending experience
