Job Summary
BRM I for Business Banking at Chase focuses on acquiring, managing, and retaining a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with $1–5M in annual revenue, delivering tailored banking solutions (deposits, cash management, and credit up to ~$500,000), and building relationships through regular in-person calls at client sites. The role requires identifying client needs, coordinating with cross-line partners (Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch Teams) to connect clients with specialists, leveraging knowledge of finance, banking, credit, and risk management to promote profitable solutions, and supporting branches while adhering to risk and regulatory requirements. Strong communication, relationship-building, and proficiency with MS Office are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
