Job Summary
Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 70 to 90 business clients with annual revenue of $1 to $5 million by providing deposit, cash management, and credit solutions up to $500,000. Deliver customized business banking solutions through in-person calls at client locations, identifying opportunities to connect clients with specialists in Wealth Management and Home Lending. Balance client needs with firm risk management protocols while adhering to regulatory requirements and escalating issues as needed. This role focuses on building long-term primary banking relationships and improving client well-being through financial education and advice. You will actively support assigned branches and maintain a disciplined relationship development process to ensure portfolio profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
- General business experience and knowledge of business credit, understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm and recognize an issue or problem and determine when to escalate or handle independently
- Determine and balance priorities on a daily basis to achieve business objectives with demonstrated ability to own problems on clients' behalf and follow through with commitment
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
